Manor House Developments (MHD) has secured the distinctive Wycliffe Mill Business Centre in Nottingham. The building has been acquired as part of the company’s strategy to acquire and/or redevelop commercial, industrial and mixed use properties into desirable urban residences. The sale, for an undisclosed amount, was completed in record time. A competitive offer was made at 9.00am on Monday morning, which was subsequently accepted with contracts exchanging at 1.30pm on the same day.
Wycliffe Mill Business Centre is a 7,500 sq ft former mill building, which retains many of its period features, currently houses a number of business tenants, whilst offering considerable ground and lower ground floor space for redevelopment.
We approached the MD of MHD, Daniel Hill, winner of the acclaimed Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2018 for a comment on the development. He gave the following statement:

“At present we are considering all our options and we have offered 12 month contracts as opposed to the current 30 day rolling agreements to provide confidence to the centre’s current business residents. Hopefully this will allow these enterprises to focus their energies on trade and growth, rather than worrying about the security of their tenure.”
